The Sales Executive’s New Love Interest 业务的新欢 by 伍薇 Wu Wei (HE)

To Song An Yi, Prof Zhou Mo is just like his name – remote (Mo) and cold.  But other than that little flaw, he is one of her biggest client, rich and good-looking. If she is not already attached, she would definitely take a second look at him

To Zhou Mo, Song An Yi is a warm, talkative, sales executive from the cleaning agency. Normally, he would stay far away from this sort of woman but she is like a ray of sunlight that has shine into his otherwise dull life.   In his recollection, he has only ever seen her smile but one day, she tumbles into his arms, tears streaming down her face.

“Hold me.” (she said it as a statement, not question). “I’m in a foul mood and as my friend, surely you would not mind me borrowing your chest for a wee moment right?”

His eyes lit up. “I have never regarded you as my friend.”.

  • I read several books by this author recently and thought to recommend one of them since they are mostly ok. All her male leads are rich and good-looking, and though this can be a little cliché, I feel that there is nothing wrong with this if the story is well-written.

This book could otherwise be called “The Professor and I” and is about a rich, quiet professor Zhou Mo (same pronunciation as “weekend”) and hardworking, cheerful Song An Yi, who cleans his house. Zhou Mo is quite old-fashioned and is often referred to as a “moving relic” but when he needs to, he can be totally modern and black-bellied. For example:

Song An Yi stares at him accusingly. “Where did you learn all this flowery gestures? I find it hard to believe that you know about them beforehand.”

“I googled “How to get a girl to agree to be your girlfriend” and received 1,520,000 search results. This is easy.” To Proff Zhou, there is no end to learning.

    Hope you enjoy the story

  • I finished reading it in one night. It is quite a sweet book. I agreed with Moonblossom as I find that the climax was quite cliché. A quick and light-hearted read after I read a super long Chinese novel. Totally recommended for people who wanted a quick break from any long and angsty novels:)

  • Hi there...show my support for the book too...this is a Taiwan novel so typical formula of all sugar and zero angst...short and sweet..i just find his 180 degree too inconsistant and the appearance of their mums who caught them out of bed too far fetch..other than that, please find me such an icy cold professor too

  • I read this book with pleasure. Easy, moderately exciting romance. There is no protracted plot, no super cavity and intrigue. It's good to read when you want to relax. My favorite scene is the conversation in front of the Efficiency office. Pregnant or not ... It's funny) Also read a book about Mu Yue and Dr. Ji Xinyuan. And now I want to read about the third partner Efficiency and the lawyer. I think it will be an interesting story. Maybe someone knows the name? And maybe someone else knows where you can read it in full? Cut scenes leave a sour taste
