I may as well disclose how I pick my books if you don’t already know by now 😛 After I listened to a good radio drama, I’ll be tempted to read the novels to know the story better as radio drama is really too summarised. This is one good radio drama. Hoju, I am in love again but not with petboy this time, lol. I am tone deaf so can someone confirm for me if the CV for Tang Chen Rui also sang the song at the end of part 2? Such a heartfelt song which melts my heart, heehee….
I am more than halfway thru the novel but I knew the whole story already thanks to my partner in crime bongsd. Needless to say, she is always ahead of me bcos she is a boss whereas I am an office slave 🙁 So far, so good. I like the 2 leads equally. The guy is scheming and unpredictable but very devoted. The gal maybe a tad boring & slow but so adorable. They make such a matching couple. Plus their super duper cute rabbit which always steal the show, haha….I like how the rabbit calls him Chen Chen, lol.
The plot of the novel has more than what the synopsis revealed. But I won’t write more as I want you to read it for yourself, lol. After reading Black & White, I like this author’s style & humor, a bit like Big Grey Wolf but not as crude, not that I am a prude 😛 Pls don’t throw tomatoes at me if you don’t like it bcos I could be bias as I am always attracted to elite 😛
I know you like him just because he is a banker! I told you, the rabbit is super cuuute. My doctor is also still cute. But I forgot if your banker is cute or not. XD but I remember he is a faithful guy. So ++ adding good points for him.
I thought 黑白 and 唐家小猫 (Tang Yi’s brother, TangJin & SuXiaoMao) were better than this one. I read Elite immediately after I finished the former two becoz I liked the author’s books so much esp after XiaoMao. She’s super cute. I guess too much of the same author in such a short time was a bit saturating. This book didn’t really leave a lasting impression so much so that I can only vaguely remember Xi Xiang Wan getting injured badly towards the end. Then seeing you guys liking it so much makes me feel I’ve read a different book..LOL..
Listen to the radio drama to refresh your memory. Everything on my link also very well made. Who asked u to be so greedy :p? I never read an author’s work back to back no matter how much I like her.
I also think the books abt the Tang brothers are better.
Peanuts warned me first that I should not bash her Chen Chen. So dictator like her banker. Haha
I admit I am bias, so what, sue me 😛 The radio drama is too good so it affected my preference for this book. The radio drama for Black & White isn’t that good. Anyway I don’t find Chen Chen worse than Tang Yi. I like Chen Chen more bcos he is not so emotional & more cunning. Maybe the plot towards the 2nd half of this novel is not as good but overall I like Chen Chen and his rabbit more than Tang Yi & his Yi Ning.
