Waiting For You To Grow Up, My Explosive Bunny 等你长大, 我的炸毛兔 by 沫非 Mo Fei (HE)

It was never an obsession, but just dreams of her besetting him constantly.

Does meeting her again and falling in love after years of separation still count as love at first sight?

Tang Chen, a young and successful lawyer is prepared to bet and invest the rest of his life and happiness waiting patiently for his explosive bunny to grow up. While waiting, he will occasionally make fun of her, tease her, in an attempt to recover part of what he deemed as his investment costs!!!

Gao Jie (literally means noble in chinese) but it is only her name. Although she’s kindly, she’s anything but noble because in Tang Chen’s eyes, she’s just a  naughty little bunny, which she is. She is carefree, happy and much to his chagrin, convinced that she will not fall in love and yet, unknowingly and rather accidentally, she managed to lose her heart.

They grew up as childhood buddies, she always bullied him, used up all his pocket money, but after years of separation and forgotten memories on her part, how will mr fox, Tang Chen tempt, rekindle and recapture ms bunny, Gao Jie?

  • This is what I regard as a quick fix story. Ideal for anyone who needs a quick fix. The story is kinda short (esp after I just finished reading several long books).

After my love affair with Ling Cao, I have always been on a look out for bunny books. Imagine my utmost delight when I stumble on the cover and title of this book. And guess what Tang Chen calls Gao Jie? ....Tu Zi....of course!!!!!

  • Copy cat,
    Catch your rat,
Shifu calls you a big fat cat:P

Hey, hey, this book stole the storyline, the bunny & Tu Zi from one of my fav book, Embrace Love. I like the cover very cute but too childish, not tasteful enough:P The story also sound very cute, suitable to be read after an angsty book. Btw Ling Cao sounds better than Tang Chen:P !!!

  • That was a good catch phrase!!!!

But Embrace Love is by far the better book, Explosive Bunny is too short and therefore, it doesn't hv the depth. Needless to say, Ling Cao's character is also much more well developed. Once again, Explosive Bunny is too short to fully develop Tang Chen's character.

But it is a fantastic in-between book, fast, quick and easy.
