[Ebook] [Radiodrama till 1] [Summary of Modern Novels by this Author] [Ánh sao lấp lánh]
I’m a fan of Fei Wo Si Cun, but this hasn’t been translated (sadface!!!). Can someone who have read this post a spoiler summary so I know the story? Thanks so much.
Huh, you still lurking around & not concentrating on your essays, naughty lidge, lol? Don’t worry, skyblu will post a spoiler for you once she has finished. Hey, I wanna know if this is another train wreck kind of story with sad ending? I can’t really stomach FWSC’s novels with a few exceptions. I’ll not dive headlong into it unless I get the green light fr skyblu:)
I think her older novels have sad ending. The newer novels seem to be better with open/sad ending but concludes with happy ending in the epilogue. That’s my impression.
Recently finished 海上繁花, and it’s happy ending in the epilogue. MV: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0rlxqOHnGqA. In the mv, Hu Ge is both the main/supporting guys. In the book, they’re brothers, not twins.
Peanuts, I have about 6 more essays then I’m DONE so I can go back to marathoning books and dramas!!!!!!!!!! WOOT!! WOOT!!! Working feverishly to just get this entire nightmare over, lol.
So far I’m at chapter 46, not very sad yet. I’m not actually sure who the main male lead, although, it’s probably Fei Jun Wei, even if he doesn’t have a lot of book time. But I’m feeling pretty bad for him since in the beginning, all of his shows of affection were ignored. Wen Xin just gave him advice like, walk slower, your left face is more handsome, don’t get involved in scandals, etc.
By the way, I can’t seem to put the paragraphs under spoilers. Well, Lidge, you certainly are more determined than I am. I have to read some chapters before I even find the motivation to write or study.
*edit You’re right, it was brackets. I thought it was for some reason.
Thanks so much for the super quick and detailed summary, skyblu!!
I think it’s (spoiler) abcdefg (/spoiler), but use [ ] not ( ).
Hey lidge, after completing your 6 essays, can you pls do a short review on all the FWSC books you’ve read? I need the plot, happy or sad ending & why you like or dislike the book so I can decide which book to read. No need to review the 3 books which have been filmed & Eastern Palace. Is 海上繁花 the sequel to the Girl in Blue with Roy Qiu & Feng Xiao Feng? Dislike book that killed my Roy:(
I read comments that this book is average especially the ending or is there an ending so skyblu be prepared to tear your hair out, lol. Thanks for the spoilers but I think I won’t read this book bcos I think I’ll ship Liang Jiang fr what I’ve read. Unless, he gets the girl then you’ve to inform me & I’ll run for the book, haha…..
I’ll review the FWSC books I’ve read when I’m done with school 🙂
From what I remember, 海上繁花 and 2 or 3 other books are in a series. The link is that the main guys are best friends. Not sure if The Girl in Blue is included.
I don’t know if I should scold you for having a crow’s mouth, because there is no ending… Apparently a sequel came out in September, but baike doesn’t have a title for me yet. Although, the trajectory is somewhat clear, considering her heart is already decided. Of course, Marilyn shows up and says, Liang Jiang, is not simple… So I probably won’t read it, since I prefer Liang Jiang. By the way, I was wrong, Liang Jiang isn’t Shi Chuan.
There was this one funny scene where Shi Chuan tells Wen Xin, in the middle of one night, I get a phone call from Xiao Jiang. He asks me to suddenly announce that I have a fiance. When I told him I can’t get a fiance, he asks if there is some other event I could make public. (He gives him a list, the same list that Wen Xin wishes would happen so that the news of one of her stars, will blow over.)” It was so cute that he would tell his brother to get a random fiance just because his girlfriend wished for it.
My dear skyblu, I was just being helpful trying to save you from hanging at the edge of the cliff:P I’ve learned my lesson so I always look b4 I jump:) From the comments, I know there might not an ending, heehee. Nowadays those authors love to torture us readers. Chancy had it bad with the Pillow Book. I guess you made a wise choice in not reading part 2 bcos I doubt FWSC will let them live HEA. So, which book next:P?
Current book is 遗爱记, The Diary of Forgetting Love. From what I gather, it’s a reunion after 5 years. 5 years ago, the main female lead dumped him and completely trashed his confidence in her love. That was because he was the driver who crashed into her brother, and almost made him a cripple. She didn’t have enough money (50,000) to pay for the surgery and begged him. Even though, he was someone who could spend that much money changing a car, he wouldn’t give/lend it to her. I can completely understand her reasoning for revenge against someone like this. In the present day, neither of them can let go of each other. However, they have lots of trust issues.
Is it the same author as that book 原来爱很殇 I recommended you which you said is just average? Bcos of that I dare not try 蓝白色’s books. Tell me if this book is good bcos the comments seem average. I notice you’ve a fetish for revenge theme & ‘impossible/tangled love’ books. Heehee, nothing is wrong as each of us have our own preference as I like cute, funny & sweet books:) If you like this author’s book, 无爱承欢 is the most popular one. I’ve no idea what it is abt or is it really good. If you do try it out, pls tell me:) Btw how to translate 腹黑 into English? Google said black belly but I am not satisfied with the translation.
Mhmm, I dropped it when at one point the plotline didn’t seem to make sense, or was it the characterization that was off? One of the two. I’ll tell you when I finish whether it was good. I like revenge themes, sweet and fluffy stories are like cotton candy, good in small amounts but not enough to fill you up. I get bored of their fluffiness if the story ends up too long. It’s probably why I used to like watching dramas, unsurprisingly, I have far more patience for ancient ones than I do for modern ones.
I might try 无爱承欢, mostly depends on how the first couple of chapters go. I think 腹黑 means black-hearted, not a good/nice person. It’s not a very nice description.
I stand corrected, apparently Shi Yan begged his father, not him. Now I don’t sympathize with her revenge plan.
A review of some of FWSC’s, per a certain person’s request XDXD. I’m using male lead, female lead, 2nd male lead because I don’t know their names in Chinese.
Books I’ve finished…..
香寒 (Fragrant Coldness): Sad ending. Female lead and 2nd male lead are in love, but somehow or other he marries her little sister. The marriage is not happy, and the sister dies. Female lead suspects 2nd male lead might have killed her sister. She meets male lead, a powerful businessman, who has some vendetta against 2nd male lead. Female lead and male lead team up to destroy 2nd male lead. At first, she participates whole-heartedly, but gradually she becomes tired and loses the motivation for revenge. Female lead and male lead take time off for some traveling. They marry, and she becomes pregnant. At this point, 2nd male lead shows up and tells female lead that male lead does not love her but just using her. The relationship between male lead and female lead worsens because she thinks he’s just using her while he thinks she’s still in love with 2nd male lead. Suddenly, 2nd male lead dies in an accident. Female lead suspects male lead so she asks for a divorce, tells him she had aborted their baby and disappears. Ten years later, male lead dies of cancer. Living in Australia with their daughter (she kept the baby!!), she receives a letter he wrote before dying. In the letter, she learns that male lead has never stopped loving her and that 2nd male lead had been responsible for the bad things that happened to her family. [Personal opinion: Plot sounds exciting, but I found the story kind of confusing.]
海上繁花 (2nd book in the Girl in Blue quadrilogy): Happy ending in the epilogue. Female lead meets 2nd male lead when she’s a reporter trying to get news at the hospital where he works as a doctor. After dating for some time, they plan to marry so they go meet his family. When she’s introduced to male lead, she’s horrified he’s 2nd male lead’s elder brother and that they had a one-night stand years ago. Because of this, male lead thinks badly of her and forces her to break up with his younger brother. She agrees thinking she’s not good enough. There’s an earthquake, and 2nd male lead travels there to help. Unfortunately, he dies in an accident. Female lead and male lead meet again due to fated circumstances and they bond over the pain of losing a loved one. Male lead falls in love, but female lead continually rejects him. [Personal opinion: The epilogue is beyond adorable because it’s from the viewpoint of their kid. The female lead forbids her son from calling the male lead “father” and can only call him “uncle.” So the poor little kid is like “My family is the strangest because I have grandparents, uncles, an aunt, a cousin, a mother but no father” lol. The kid is very cute towards the male lead, he’s like “OK, I’ll call you ‘uncle’ because my mother makes me, but I know you’re my father” lol. Good mv that matches the book well except the brothers are not twins in the book http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=z8lp7HMN-zM%5D
今生今世 (This Life – 3rd book in Girl in Blue quadrilogy): Open ending, but after some time the author produces a strange epilogue that can be considered happy ending. Male lead and female lead grew up together because their families have known each other forever and he’s good friends with her elder guy cousins so he’s like her big brother. Female lead still hasn’t gotten over the breakup with 2nd male lead 2 years ago. When she finds out 2nd male lead got married, she goes out and gets drunk. Luckily, she meets male lead, and he takes her home. They have a one-night stand. She finds out her father has an affair, and he has another daughter. The perfect image she has of her perfect family collapses. In anguished, she marries male lead to get away from her parents. The marriage is not happy because she can’t bear to let him touch her. Frustrated, he goes back to his philandering ways. She doesn’t care as long as he keeps his mistresses away from her. In front of everyone, they pretend to have a happy marriage. Three years pass, and 2nd male lead comes back. Tired of her fake life, female lead goes mountain climbing to get away from everything. On the trip, she coincidentally meets 2nd male lead. She tells him how she’s been suffering since he’s left her. He explains why he left, which is that he found out his aunt was her father’s mistress so he didn’t think they could have a future together. With everything out in the open, they decide to give their relationship another try. Female lead goes back and asks male lead for a divorce. Male lead refuses and goes crazy when he finds out it’s because 2nd male lead has come back so he forces himself on her. She insists on the divorce, but then finds out she’s pregnant. She has a miscarriage, and male lead lets go because he loves her and wants her to be happy. After she gets back with 2nd male lead, she begins to miss her ex-husband. [Personal opinion: I feel that the author wants this to be open ending, that the story ends with the female lead deciding whether she’ll stay in China and give it another try with the male lead or leave with the 2nd male lead to the US. Probably due to fan pressure, the author wrote an epilogue with a happy ending for the main couple, but it’s very strange. The first 2 parts of the epilogue are just way strange because it’s hard to figure out the time of the events. The last part of the epilogue mentions the main couple having a boy so we can interpret that as happy ending.]
Books I’m currently following……
爱你是最好的时光 (Because of Love): Female lead & male lead meet each other again after 7 years. She is married to an alcoholic/gambler, has an adorable son with heart disease and works a dead-end job. He is a successful heart doctor, single and very much bitter over how she had left him. Her son needs surgery, but she doesn’t have the money. She finally tells male lead the kid is his son. [Personal opinion: This is still being translated, but spoiler says happy ending. The story isn’t bad per say, but I’m reading this off and on waiting for new chapter releases while finishing a bunch of other stories. I find it difficult to keep the story straight so I think I would like this much more if I can read it in one go.]
爱情的开关: Male lead and female lead are brother and sister and live in the same house. They have a sexual relationship, and he pays her specific money for certain things. For example, a hug is worth so much money, a kiss so much money, etc. He’s involved in illegal activities, and she’s helping police find evidence to convict him. [Personal opinion: Translation has only been done for the first few chapters so I have no idea where the story is heading. Rumor is sad ending. Obviously they’re not really related. I think her dad did something to his mom, which is his revenge motive. The story is very dark.]
Thanks lidge very much for the lengthy review. You seem to read only her modern novels? Most of the stories sound so twisted & sad so I might only read the one with happy ending. FWSC is really productive & rich. She wrote so many novels like factory production, lol.
I want to read everything but can only read what’s translated 🙂 🙂
I think most of the translations done of Chinese romance novels in general are of the modern genre, probably because the language is easier to understand compared to other genres.
The translation for FWSC’s 寂寞空庭春欲晚 (story about Kangxi & Liang Fei?) is almost done so I’ll prob give that a go next. The TV adapt has Hawick & Tong Liya. Book 2 of Let Me has also been posted so gotta catch up on that. Ahh, so much stuff to read, but I’m not complaining, lol.
Wow, you read a lot of tragic books. I though you only read HEA ending books. I am sticking to my principles, no tragic book unless it is super good like Yun Zhong Ge. I won’t touch any FWSC books unless with happy ending. She is truly a step-mum. That drama with Hawick will be shown in Dec so I won’t bother reading the book & will watch the drama instead.
裂锦 is FWSC’s early work & has very good review but the ending is too much for me to stomach so no way am I touching it. 香寒 has lower rating. With such sad ending, I am also not reading eventhough she moved to Aust, lol.海上繁花 plot sound so similar to Spiral Lover? I hate the 1st book in the Girl in Blue quadrilogy but I’ll give this book a go since the review & ending is good. Rating for 今生今世 is lower but will give it a try when I’ve time. So, she ended up back with the husband in the epilogue?
爱你是最好的时光 has rather poor feedback. Somemore got book 2 which is being bashed by the readers as being written by someone else.爱情的开关 is written by our step-mum online to reduce stress. It is confirmed the ending is tragic. Summary I stole from jolecole for you:) The two main leads for the are step-siblings (no blood relations). The father of male protagonist, Zhao Yanzhao, who is an underworld crime boss, married a stunningly beautiful woman with a 2 year old daughter from her first marriage or something. The new family lived happily for next 14 years until one day the beautiful woman turned against her mafia boss husband and hired a sniper to assassinate him.
The story begins with Yanzhao exacting revenge on his stepsister, Zhou Xiaomeng, for her mother’s role, perhaps even her role, in the attempted assassination of his father. Even though the murder attempt didn’t kill Yanzhao’s father, but the bullet in his head mentally incapacitated him and turned him into a 3 year old on a wheelchair.Yanzhao then became the next big mafia boss doing all kind of dirty business including drug dealing and seems to be mentally tormented by the sudden crisis in his family. I think Yanzhao and Xiaomeng had romantic feelings for each other before the whole mess, but now they’re at each other throat. The main guy is quite 变态 (abnormal), but sometimes he’s quite normal and pitiful. Well…He’s a crime boss after all.
Peanuts is running far far away from the FWSC books Lidge is following, haha…
I guess what 知我者莫若你 means then when I paste it into google, wow I am spot on. I really can read your mind, lol. I also know you are more into FWSC’s books filled with tears & angst. Actually I like angsty book also but not to FWSC’s extend. FWSC likes to kill her characters, mostly the male.
At least there must be a happy ending. Otherwise, all my tears ended up for nothing, lol. My ideal book is funny & angsty like Floating Dreams. I need my fluff to escape fr reality:P Wow, you’ve time to rewatch. Damo, that korean drama? Actually 爱情的开关 does sound interesting. I might read it but stop at a happy part to delude myself, haha…
Hey, hey, I guessed correctly the ending for 爱情的开关. Anyone want spoiler, lol?
Except for Eastern Palace and Starry Sky, I actually haven’t read any of FWSC’s books. I actually liked the Eastern Palace ending well enough, although I was semi-prepared after watching an mv. I liked the fact that he refused to believe she’s dead and that she actually returned home. I’ve heard of some of her other books but either the premise or the time period was not catchy. Dislike post Opium Wars and Qing dynasty. Although BBJX was awesome even though I only read the first half of the book.
Sure, spoilers are always welcome. ^_^
Oh, you didn’t read Too Late To Say I Love You? I read xiaoyuer’s translation, so boring. The drama is a lot bettter with Wallace to drool at, lol. I also saw the Girl in Blue. I find the story not that interesting & the ending is bad bad bad. If you don’t want to know the ending, stop reading as I forgot how to put spoiler:P
FWSC killed the male lead, sob sob…….
But the drama with Hawick is interesting eventhough he is so 变态, lol.
According to what I read, the ending for 爱情的开关 is FWSC killed both of them. See, she is a professional killer, lol.
Opps, forgot to complain abt Eastern Palace. I expect a funny & fluffy book after I read xiaoyuer’s intro. When I started reading it, I was very happy. Then the book became angsty but I continue thinking the ending will be HEA and the story is interesting. But, much later I know it is a lost cause. Took me many days to recover from the shocking ending eventhough it is very exciting bcos I didn’t read any spoiler. Thereafter I’ve learned my lesson & will read spoiler to prepare my heart b4 I start any book:)
There is a reason that FWSC is called the stepmothers of stepmothers, very cruel. But apparently very good if you want a good cry. Qian Shan Mu Xue was angsty but not my alley. I prefer my female leads with some semblance of dignity. Although when she is the third person in the relationship it really depends on the situation. Like I liked The Third Kind of Love, but I didn’t Qian Shan Mu Xue.
You should follow the path the writer wrote, for they have great plans, or at least they usually do. Yun Zhong Ge was an epic epic. She made us all love Liu Fu Ling, gave him a chance, and then killed him again. I actually hoped for a miracle like Huo Qu Bing, but no, he has to stay dead. I liked that in Eastern Palace, despite the different situation and identities, their relationship pretty much turned out the same. It really is a 有缘无分, fated to love but not destined to be together. I wonder if Li Cheng Yin would’ve been happier falling down with her.
Spoilers do prepare you for the story, but it usually doesn’t deter me from a book, unless something I really dislike gets known. Although if I read the book up to that point, I would drop it anyway. Besides, sad endings are usually more memorable. There are only so many ways you can have a happily ever after before they start blending in together.
爱情的开关 only have 40 chapters so a short read. Our stepmum even wrote a postscript on it explaining her intention & justifying her actions. I don’t mind crying but at the end of the day, I need some happiness. Most of her books end on a bleak & gloomy note which is rather depressing. After all the angsty & heartbreak must write me something to smile at. I like to close a book happily full of hope for the characters I root for as well as myself:)
The girl in Qian Shan Mu Xue isn’t really a 3rd wheel bcos Hawick never loves his wife & the marriage is just for business purpose. Anyway, I agree with you that the girl is too soft and need to fight back more often. I find her such a doormat, so boring. I watched that drama for the 变态 guy only. Similarly I watched TLTSILY also for the guy only, lol.
Oh, I think I might start 海上繁花 tonight since I saw the MV with Hu Ge & Liu Yi Fei last night. The plot is fairly cliche so I wanna see how the stepmum can make me feel angsty. I am well prepared & have strengthed my heart. If her words manage to shatter it then I’ll hold her work in higher esteem as so far I don’t really fancy her compared with XYW. It is a bit of a hit & miss.
Hi, Happy new year! I am new here and am glad there is a book bar for Chinese novel readers. I am also a fan of Fei Wo Si Cun and am curious about Starry Sky but have not read it yet as not sure whether it is good. However, I did read a few of Fei Wo Si Cun’s novels and wrote a post on it: http://seoulinlovenow.blogspot.sg/2013/01/fei-wo-si-cun-novels.html
Like many others, I very much preferred happy endings. I have read 爱情的开关, it is a short read that ended sadly, Fei Wo Si Cun actually wrote it out of fun and to ‘de-stress’…Hopefully her novels will have more happy endings in near future! =)
Breaking news for my Lidge, an ardent fan of the infamous step-mum, lol. Oh, maybe u already know this news since u always lurk around her Viet fb:P
乐俊凯 a very popular & heart breaking short story will be filmed into a drama after CNY starring Peter Ho & Janine Chang. Why Peter:(? I am allergic to him:( Sorry, I just don’t like his look:( I saw him in General Yang but is not impressed with him. I prefer Hu Ge & Eddie over him. Don’t know it is his acting or his character. But I like Janine so hopefully their real life good friendship will bring sizzling chemistry on screen. Lidge, u read this story right? Arrrrgh so sad, I wonder if they gonna change the ending. Heehee, I actually love the male lead but at the same time hate him:( I find this is one of step-mum better story.
It is a short story. The title is the name of the male lead Le Jun Kai. This story is very popular so I think it should have been translated to Viet. The story is abt the guy marrying the daughter of his enemy for revenge. Then he tortures the girl till she left him. A few yrs later………..If the story is not so sad, I’ll translate for u if u can’t find the Viet translation. Step mum didn’t really write an ending for the story bcos she said the male is too BT (abnormal) & cold blooded so she can’t continue writing:( What is wrong with this woman? She is an author. Use her pen to transform him. U like Peter Ho? I can’t picture him as the sadistic hubby. Actually the guy does like the girl yet he tortures her & him to avoid liking her, so sad, sob sob..
Have u read any book by 凌淑芬 (Ling Shu Fen), a Taiwanese author?
There’s no ending? Maybe that’s why no one has translated it.
I don’t like Peter or Janine, but I’m fickle so I hardly like anybody^^
They make a good-looking couple in real life though.
No on 凌淑芬 (Ling Shu Fen), but there’s a story by her planned to be translated called 阴大人. There’s a lot of translated stuff that only has 10 chapters. I think these 10 chaps/story are by Taiwanese writers, but the translators usually don’t bother listing the titles/authors in Chinese so I have no idea. I rarely read these though b/c they’re too short.
Initially Ying’er, that girl with Hawick in Sealed with a Kiss is gonna lead. Luckily timing is a problem so the role went to Janine. Come on, she is better than her especially she gonna be in the new drama with my Wallace, lol. I bet u gonna watch this drama since u r such a super fan of FWSC:P
I am reading 情在不能醒. It is quite addictive. I like it being 10 chapters so not draggy. Do give the Taiwanese authors a try as the way they write is a bit diff, more poetic. Also, most of their stories are quite melancholy & emotional but with good ending. So far not much humour so maybe not your style. I like it bcos I always can finish it being so short. I gonna read another of Ling Shu Fen’s book bcos I read she is quite a humourous writer but just that the book I picked is one of her rare serious one, haha….
情在不能醒 is abt a pair of orphans being adopted by a rich family. The real son doesn’t like the adopted girl & always bully her till when she is older, he starts to like her. But she hates him bcos he has a short temper & has always treated her badly. Yet, she marries him to show her gratitude to the family. 5 yrs later, the real son found out the adopted girl has never loved him so this hurt his ego so they divorced. 5 yrs later, the girl found out the guy craved the word ‘ 情在不能醒’ on a wood long ago. Oh, so sweet, lol.
I read another book where the girl & boy sailed away in a boat then set it on fire to commit sucide bcos the guy is sick & dying & the girl doesn’t wanna live without him. Sob sob, so sad, so dramatic yet such deep love. I was traumatised by the ending:( I made the mistake of assuming all the books have happy ending or maybe it can be considered happy ending since they are together.
The story sounds sweet. I want to read it now. But what does 情在不能醒 mean? lol
I just finished 三救姻缘 yesterday. Not exceptional but still OK read. The female lead travels from 21st century back to ancient time during an earthquake. There, she rescues a mysterious stranger who’s been beaten and tortured beyond recognition. The poor guy gives her directions to go to his teacher’s home. Once they get there, the guy wants her to stay with him (by this time he’s fallen deeply in love with her because of the kindness she’s shown him), but she refuses because she wants to wander the land.
Time passes, and the guy heals somewhat and tracks her down. He travels to see her 2x/month. Eventually, she finds out he’s the beloved younger brother of the king and a very powerful figure in his own right. Turns out he was kidnapped and tortured (and would have been killed if she hadn’t saved him) by a good friend of his because this friend’s family was killed by the king and his teacher. In the end, the main couple marry because the main guy convinces the female lead that their love is strong enough to overcome their differences and whatever obstacles they encounter.
The couple in this story is adorable. The female lead is loudmouth and brash but with a heart of gold. The main guy is handsome, quiet, talented with the arts, but he is also shy. When they’re together, she talks her head off while he just listens. It’s just very sweet. There are some funny moments, especially when the female lead talks about her life in modern time (like McDonad’s, Christianity, cell phone, computers, ets.) and ppl think she’s crazy, lol.
情在不能醒 kind of means love till cannot wake up. Haha, it sounds a lot better in Chinese & my translation is bad:( I google translate it into Viet for u – Tình hình ở không thức dậy. Go & find it & read it. Short story is good, not draggy. i gave up on a lot of novels bcos I can’t last till the end, lol. Btw, I am bias. I always have a fondness for anything Taiwan except Peter Ho:P U go & dig out those 10 chapters book. U might find some gems there. I m bored with mainland novel so I feel refreshing with Taiwan novel. I’ll probably feel bored later, lol.
Hey, I heard abt 三救姻缘 b4. It is quite highly rated but I am kind of allergic to time travelling novel. There is an audiobook for it but only 1 voice so I am not keen on it. Since I dun have much to listen to nowadays, I might give this book a try.
I did try Google translator and it’s gibberish which is why I asked, lol.
I have read a few of the 10 chaps, but I like longer stories b/c there’s more room to develop characters/plot. Long time ago I read this 10 chaps story about this CEO turning into a cat and being cared for by the female lead. OMG, I thought it was a waste of time but since it was short so I finished. Recently, I stumbled onto another 10 chaps story and guess what, this time it’s about a CEO turning into a dog and cared by the female lead. Urgh!!!! Do I know how to pick stories or what? lol
Check out 三救姻缘 if you have time. I’m currently reading 最美遇见你. Before the website crashed, you posted another book of this author. The online novels are called Why Winter Is Warm & Why Summer Is Cool. The released book combines both.
Huh, google can’t even translate 5 words well:(
CEO turning into dog & cat? What kind of stories are they? Supernatural? I read 阴大人 by Ling Shu Fen is rather funny. May give it a try. With short stories, there are not that many characters so the focus is mainly on the leads. Also, I find the characters develop quite well as their 1 chapter is quite long, maybe equivalent to 3 or more chapters in mainland novel.
Is 最美遇见你 good? I like Winter Warm. Since u’ve forgotten go back & read again. Yesterday I was reading a poll on fav male in a novel & that guy in Winter Warm was mentioned. Yes, he is obssessive but I like him, haha…The winner is 4th prince in BBJX. Others well liked one are the 2 guys in Gu Man’s book. There are 5 guys in XYW’s books. Guess who they are, lol? Black fox in Who Gets the World is also well liked. Btw u should read that book. It is really a good book but slow. I forgot who else. I go home tonight & summarise for u, haha….
最美遇见你 got happy ending? The male lead funny or not?
I translated the fav male leads list. U want a copy? I don’t know half of the list (those in red) so can u find out if those guys are that great, lol? I send to your yahoo a/c?
Huh, u sleep by midnite, so early? I tut u read novels till morning, haha…
I wonder, is this a happy ending ?
Could I get a full summary ?
