This is an online game novel like Wei Wei but it has not been published. I've to post this book bcos I like the male lead a lot. He is so so shameless (耍赖) & thick skin that is so endearing & crack me up. Lidge. has this been translated into Viet? Have you read it? You must read it bcos you'll like this guy as he is rather persistent & obssessive:)
I am half way thru the book. I find the interactions between the leads more interesting than Wei Wei but maybe not as dream like or romantic. There are a lot of cold jokes, haha....The online game part might bore you if you are not into playing online game. I don't play online game yet I find it tolerable. The female lead is playing the game because the game is based on a book she wrote whereas the male lead is playing bcos he likes her book but he doesn't know she wrote the book. When he found out she is the famous author, he feels inferior, haha....So far, I like this book more than Wei Wei.
Arrrrrgh, I like Lu Shui Han very very much. His online game name is 'donkey looking for a wife', wahaha....He asked her online game wife the female lead to pretend to be his girlfriend for a day to meet his mum. The girl got along well with his mum & likes her a lot. So, he'll always threathen the girl with 'I'll tell my mum' to make her comply to his wishes, lol. He pretended to be injured & also shamelessly moved into the girl's place to cook & warm her bed in order to court her, haha.....Oh, he is so sweet, childish & cute:) The girl thinks he is a 'flower heart carrot':P
I can only find an incomplete average radio drama on this book:( Hopefully someone will do a radio drama on this as it'll be great.

hahaha, peanuts, I like the main guys shameless, persistent, obsessive, and willing to use underhanded means to get the girl. I have read this, but it was some time ago. I can't really remember it. I went back to skim through the first few chapters, which did make me remember that the main girl is a famous mysterious writer who the main guy's been after. I think later on in the story, there's a funny part where the main girl storms into the main guy's office because of some reason. That's all I remember XD.

Don't you think this guy is so much more adorable & realistic than Xiao Nai in Gu Man's Wei Wei? He is a better developed character. I didn't read Wei Wei but listened to the radio drama so that is why I am not that attached to Xiao Nai compared to Shui Han. You should reread this book after your final. This author has a way with words that all their dialogues are funny, lol. I wonder if any of the cold jokes got lost in translations.
I remember a rather funny part is the male lead asked the female lead why you don't wanna have relationship with me. She replied bcos you are short. He asked where am I short? She replied everywhere. He said how you know since you didn't see it. Haha, you get the double meaning:P I think he never calls her name, just call her woman, haha...What I like abt him is he is not perverted or forceful, just plain shameless & thick skin, my kind of guy, heehee.....
I read game stories now and then. I've never played online games so it's hard for me to understand the technical terms/events sometimes. I don't remember the main girl meeting his mother or him moving in with her. Sounds funny. I'll reread this when I'm done with this semester, peanuts^^
What book did you mean, peanuts? Bao Zhu's Ghost Talk? No, I haven't. Seems like there's not a big audience for supernatural stories so not many of those are translated.

I like! If i have spare time after playing game today I'll read this. What captivated me inside Gu Man's story is the game rather than the characters. That story was slightly too good to be true. Too perfect. Want to read this to compare.

I kind of lost interest on Wei Wei after they met in real life. I think the game was 10x more interesting to read. If you girls say this is better than Wei Wei, esp the offline storyline, I'll definitely try this hehe
The book I mean is 一夜成名 by 红枣. Needless to ask, you’ll tell me you’ve read it, lol. So, how is it? The female worked as a paparazzi (doggy reporter) who stalked artists. Later, she changed job & become an artist. The male lead is a rich film investor & she is trying to curry favour with him to get a leading role. But he is not fond of her bcos she used to stalk him. The story sound interesting & the book is rated quite well but don’t know why after 2 chapters, I am not into the book yet.
Btw have you read Floating Dreams. If not, you must read it. Such a good book. Oh, I love the audio book, made me laughed & cried so much. As for SYW's new book, I'll read it at the end of Nov or beginning of Dec if it is released bcos I'll be on holidays in Taiwan & Korea in 2 weeks time. Thus, you won't have your drug supply for a mth so don't miss me too much, haha....

I was having lunch with my friend yesterday & she commented I look like a drug addict with my watery eyes & running nose (I've a cold bcos of the sudden change in cold weather) & tired face & continous yawning (lack of sleep due to reading this book):(. So I told her I am only a book addict. Then she asked is there an difference, lol?
Chancy & Raini, give this a try as the game is also rather interesting. I think the male lead's online a/c got hacked & the hacker stole game accessories or money from his sect's members so they accused his online wife who is the female lead as husband & wife share their passwords. The male lead trust her that she didn't do it so he compensated the members & left the sect for her. Bcos of this the girl feel indebted to him & agreed to meet him & pretend to be his gf in front of his mum for a day. Later, they quarrelled & he accidentally pressed 'divorce' in the game so he panic, haha....He cares a lot of the girl, always worry if she is eating or sleeping well, such a sweet guy.
Another interesting bit is the girl helped a lower rank sect to defeat a higher rank sect in online warfare by supplying them with DRUG, wahahaha......The girl did this out of revenge for her online hubby who left the higher rank sect. The girl has no friend online except the guy. She is a loner & she doesn't really like this guy very much yet is attached to him. She is a cool & calculative character, not perfect like Wei Wei. See, the story is more interesting than Wei Wei, right? Trust peanuts bcos she has got good taste in man in the novels, lol.
Btw, I wanted to listen to 2 audio online game novels on cxt8. But I found out one book has the girl end up not with the guy most ppl shipped:( Another book has no ending or bad ending. Aiya, why they don't read this book with good ending:(
