Hi Chancy, you have fnished this book & no shocking ending, right? I've downloaded 10 chapters of this book & will finish the downloading once I get confirmation from you. I'm not done yet. lol So far so good though. I don't think there'll be a sad ending. Comedy never ends sad, or I hope not. I think he has another book he does with another girl. That one is a comedy also, but a a time traveler. Time Traveling into the WuLin world. I think I like his voice in 寡人有疾 better than inside 13 Crows. The voice mixing is better so he doesn't sound very detached. He's also in the 3L3W10PB sequel.

I think at most I read 2-3 chapters a day. I get to read more during weekends. Read a chapter while walking the dog and read a chapter before bed. Not really one to rush through a novel. Especially since I never re-read a novel unless I'm translating it.
I think I found Meng Jiu #2. Except I like the OTP in this novel more than inside DMY. I'm finally almost done reading it.

Su Yun, poor guy. Su Yun is more of a self-less lover, while Pei Zheng is self-ish lover. Pei Zheng is very romantic though and funny, I love their scenes together. A little part of me wish she could be like her mother and marry them both. She's the only woman with the entitlement to have more than 1 husbands. Exercise your rights, you know? It's funny how her mom tells her that she wish she didn't meet 5 wonderful men in one lifetime, hoping to have actually met them in different lifetimes so she could treat each of them the way they deserve. I admire Dou Dou's determination though.
Found out this book has a prequel about her mom and her 5 dads. I love her 5 dads, they're so funny. But I don't think I like a story where there is 5 OTP with the same woman. lol

I actually think her mother's story would be quite interesting. I wonder how she ended up falling for her shifu and how he felt when she married four other guys. :D
Peanut told me to tell her how the ending was, it's Hua Xu Yin-ly. But it's still a good ending, Hua Xu Yin was a good ending.
In this novel, I found out how romantic a self-ish loving guy is. There was a part where Pei Zhen said that if Su Huan Qin was to die, she would always remember his good. So he'd rather die so she would forever remember his good only. He's very Xue (from The Flame's Daughter) like, but more macho. haha Ok don't worry, he didn't die immediately after saying that.
Huh, HXY's ending? Oh, for me it means sad ending:( I've my suspicion bcos many a time funny book has sad or bad ending. Never mind, I haven't been crying over a book for awhile, time to clean my eyes:)

Reading this now. Only a few chapters in, and it's really cute so far! Though I'm used to the idea of the sovereign being a guy that in the beginning I was really confused and thought the OTP was 2 guys. Got to the end of ch. 1 when I realized the sovereign is a girl....lol.

Pei zhen is way better off than ah fu. Dou Dou also has it easier in slight way compared to Su Yu. Its poor Su Huan Qing that i feel saddest for. Sadder than Meng Jiu.
