Huang Xiao Xian is a 27 years old mature girl who works as a high-end wedding planner. She is flat-chested and plain looking with an average family background. Her only strength, is a sharp tongue and an optimistic attitude. She is involved in a long-distance relationship for about seven years which didn’t bear fruit. Instead, she saw her boyfriend and close girlfriend smiling happily together in the shopping mall.
Thus, that is how Huang Xiao Xian began to write her lost love diary entries daily. She has just split up with her boyfriend but is encountering difficulty at work as she has to plan the wedding for a couple who has been together for a long time similar to her situation but who is still very much in love. Her colleague, Wang Xiao Jian who is cold and has a poison tongue and also suspect to be a homosexual, is indifferent to Huang Xiao Xian’s miserable conditions …… does this mean Huang Xiao Xian’s life which has yet to reach its climax, is forced to call it a day?
Huang Xiao Xian might not have much going for her but she has got self-esteem and blind optimism. After the pain and wiping away the tears, even if the new day is just a replica of the previous day which will not suddenly become brighter or miracle will happen, she still decided to continue to live her life well.

[Film] [Drama] [33 Ngày Thất Tình]
I read that this book which has been filmed into a movie had good responses when it was released. Thus, it will also be filmed into a drama. Anyone read or seen it? Then I found 3 versions of the audiobooks floating online. I kind of tested them all & found their quality at best average only:(
I am not sure if I gonna read, listen or watch this. This book seems to be like Bridget’Jones’s Diary. I am curious but feel that this book might be too ‘Chinese’ for my taste. I might not be able to relate to the mainland way of life and sense of humour.
Ooooo…..did you just mention Bridget Jones’s Diary? Ooooo….I love Bridget Jones. I was a huge fan of Renee Zellweger and of course, ooooo…..Colin Firth was my dream man then. But that was another time and space, I confess, I was very2 young then, I didn’t get my priorities right, I am now much more down to earth, Chinese men have suddenly become more charming, way way more charming than I imagine them to be……heehee….like…..Jiang Li.
On a serios note, I think I will check this book out. If it’s ala Bridget Jones, it should not go wrong….
Ah, I loved the movie to this. It was all sorts of quirky. I didn’t know it was based off a book! Now I know what I want to watch next 🙂
i’ve seen a movie with this same title and enjoyed it, especially the wedding party revenge bits LOL
Didnt know it was adapted from a book!
Ohhhhh I’ve also watched the movie on this. I liked it up to the ending, and then I got pretty confused. Anyone read the book? Does the movie follow it the whole way?
I didn’t read the book or watch the movie or drama but I know the writer is also the scriptwriter for the movie which she won an award so my guess is she followed her novel quite closely with the movie adaptation but with the constraint of time, I guess many stuff were edited out. If you are too lazy to read, you can watch the drama.
Nowadays many movie/drama are adapted from novels!!!!
