Lan Yin Bi Yue is the martial arts world (wulin) most sacred object. Owning it is the same as having the entire martial arts world.
Lan Qi vows to get the Lan Yin Bi Yue at all cost. She has a beautiful face, indepth mastery of martial arts skill and a pair of illuminating green eyes. Her rough upbringing coupled with her always in man clothings, make her appears ruthless. Thus, the people in the martial arts world called her “Bi Devil” 碧妖 (妖孽) .
Ming Er is Lan Qi’s biggest rival in competing for Lan Yin Bi Yue. His martial arts skill is high and appearance elegant. He has a well-matched nickname with “Bi Devil” which is ”Zhe Xian” 谪仙 (假仙). Needless to say, angel and devil are at the opposite side.
Ning Lang and Lan Qi were betrothed since they were children. His honesty and kind-heartedness can be compared favorably wih Guo Jing. Thus, he and Lan Qi are from two completely different worlds.
During the process of fighting for Lan Yin Bi Yue, Lan Qi and Ming Er encounter many life threathening situations. They start to build up strong rapport and work well together. In the meantime, Ning Lang also did a lot for Lan Qi to be able to slowly thaw her icy cold heart …
Lets see who will finally get Lan Yin Bi Yue. Lets see what kind of outcome the three leads’ stories will get.

As frequent visitors to this bar will know I like Who Gets the World audiobook very much to the extend I've revamped that post & drew up a characters list:) While waiting painfully for that book to finish broadcasting, I've decided take a look at the spin-off book. So sorry to tell you all, there is no audiobook:( Lets hope cxt8 will do a good one in the near future. In consolation, I found the radiodrama which I'll give it a try later.
Another reason why I posted this book is the severe shortage of wuxia book in the bar:( According to comments I read, it seems this book is as good as Who Gets the World if you are fan of this genre.
QSTX is not done yet T_T
this sounds really good. I wanna read it. cxtb hope they do it soon!!!
Peanuts....links correct? Haha.....I might try this after I finish the wgtw book....I somehow love this series....
This author is very prolific :D
So many epic books by her and they're all long wuxias too. Excellent :)
Adding to my reading list for sure (it's getting very long LOL)

Hey pm, you know anyone in this MV, lol? I've started this book but a bit lost. Thus, I gonna wait for you to finish & write me a summary. Thanks in advance:)
To queenanon: Yup, she is one of my fav author (kind of like the female version of Jin Yong). These 3 books are sort of like the Condor Heroes trilogy. But I do wish she is less descriptive & used simpler Chinese:( The good things are she doesn't only concentrate on romance, there is always something more epic, no time-travel element which I am allergic and her characters have depth as well as a sense of humour.
Always here for more well-written wuxia :D
LOL I was just thinking that the 3 books are similar to Condor Heroes (like Fengying Konglai = Condor Heroes, WGTW = Return of Condor Heroes, Lanyin Biyue = Heaven Sword & Dragon Sabre) and then I read your comment :D
Yeah I find her prose quite difficult too. Jin Yong's prose is beautiful but so difficult I can't even read it. I opened up the first page of Heaven Sword & Dragon Sabre (I have most of his series in old paperback form) and I couldn't even get through the first page! :( *sigh*
BTW Peanuts, should we have a new tag for 倾泠月? Because there's been quite a few posts of her books already and this awesome author should have her own tag :D
Hahaha.... Peanuts u gotta wait a while then k...I'm very slow with wgtw.....not enuf free time.....:( I'm only on page 2 of the book...
The tu dou site is really slow and stalling on my iPad...maybe not too compatible?? Tu dou arh tu dou......dun be such a potato!!
The is an obvious diff is I think WGTW happened a few generations after Fengying Konglai whereas JY's novels are direct decendants. I have never read anything written by JY so I am not sure abt his prose. I watched probably all the incorrect stories on tv, lol. Btw, they also have audiobooks for JY's stories.
Okay, did a new tag already. Actually she is not that popular bcos most of the visitors here don't know chinese. They only know the std few authors which books have been translated to English or adapted into drama.
To Pm: Yah, tudou is indeed a potato bcos many potatoes in China are also accessing it, lol. Try using google chrome which is faster, I think.
this one seems hard to read... too much fancy and complicated writing... has anyone found a translated version?
