This book is kinda long, but the story draws you in. It reflected the feelings, prejudices and pressures of 30 plus lady if you are not married, and the building of a relationship with a person you tie yourself with.
There is a side story of her best friend, which I felt was a good read and the raw emotions the story evoked.
I like what i read so far...hopefully it continues to be good. Nowdays it hard to found a novel that can keep my interest to the end. Su li cheng is amazingly good! I wish my hubby was that good lol...

The novel is so cute. It would make a nice drama. It reminded me of Thai dramas with the totally crazy ex-girlfriend and annoying ex-boyfriend. Ah ah ah!
I especially liked how the main couple remained very honest with each other from beginning to end, about anything happening and anyhow they felt, they literally made it impossible to drag on misunderstandings.
Also I think it's a story about choices and consequences. Not to judge only looking at feelings and wishes, but looking also at actions, decisions, consequences, mindset and character. A lot characters were cruelly betrayed in love, the way they handled it was very interesting.
Basically I felt the book teaches not to judge by cause only, denying effect, or by effect only, denying cause, but to judge a situation by both, otherwise it's self-deception. So everybody blaming other things or other people for their choices or the consequences of their choices was brilliantly told.
The only side romance I didn't really enjoy was the sister's.
